This guy seriously lacks historical knowledge. Imperialism: a British phenomenon... oh, please!
You only need to move one country south of the US, and a couple of centuries earlier to realise that isn't true.
Has he never heard of Genghis Khan? Alexander the Great?

they seemed fine before British intervention...they had the first thriving civilations before europeans....compare and contrast the before and after factor and tell me they can't run themselves
England taught the world how to be arrogant

the industrial revolution led to wage work --> minimum wage people now are working more and sleeping less, and dieing off more, than years of long ago...so if this is an improvement i don't see it

People are living FAR longer than a hundred years ago. It's true that the capitalism that came with the industrial revolution was certainly unfair and it's working class Brits who suffered more in that respect than anyone (another reason why Grasse should back off with the demonisation of Brits), but to deny that the technological advancements forged in that age of satanic mills do not benefit us in this age is ridiculous. Unless you fancy being Amish, which I'm sure you don't.

Imperialism a british thing? Is there a country in the world which doesn't have a fucking starbucks? Did the french not have an empire at the same time as ours as well? Assyrians? The Hittites? Alexander? The Romans? Genghis Kahn? Surely every country is formed by a warlord. This guy must either be a wind up merchant or just a massive tosser.

Without imperialism, modern day America would not be what it is today. Native Americans would be the majority and you would probably not exist!
