Hindu Rights Action Force Joins ICBR in Call For British Reparations
Ten thousand members of the Hindu Rights Action Force, or HINDRAF, protested in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur against the deep racial divide between ethnic Indians and the native Malaysian population on Sunday. Forced into indentured servitude and shipped to Malaysia during British colonial rule, the countries minority Indian population continues to suffer from significant prejudices. Accounting for nearly eight percent of the countries 27 million people, ethnic Indians make up the poorest parts of Malaysian society and are still suffering the consequences of British exploitation.
Sunday’s protests were meant to call attention not only to the plight of ethnic Indians within Malaysian society, but also to the 2,000bn pound lawsuit that HINDRAF filed in London last August against the British for totally crapping on them in the first place. The ICBR stands in solidarity with HINDRAF against the British and fully recognizes the right of the Malaysian-Indian population to seek damages for the egregious acts committed against them by the British Empire. We are excited that our actions have empowered others to oppose the Evil Empire and only hope that more former subjects of the British Crown will rally behind our cause; give those limy bastards their due and give the rest of the world their just reward.
