Osteoporosis Plagues British Heavy Metal Legends; Amy Crackhouse Sets New Bar For Acceptance Speeches

11.12.2007

Philadelphia, PA – November 12, 2007

Fans of seminal hard rocker Led Zepplin will have to wait a just a little bit longer to see the band perform live for the first time in over two decades. The concert, originally scheduled for November 26 at the 02 Arena in London, had to be pushed back two weeks after guitarist Jimmy Page broke his finger. Oh pishaw! How not hardcore is this? Very not hardcore. Ozzy wanted us to tell you you’re a pussy.

In other British music news Amy Winehouse graced the stage with her presence at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany. The singer also took home the Artist’s Choice Award, thanking friends, family and fans profusely with a lengthy acceptance speech that began with “Um,” ended with “thanks” and had a comma in the middle.
