Great Britain's Great Mistake
Philadelphia, PA – According to the June 23rd edition of The New York Times 16-year-old Lydia Playfoot belongs to a British branch of an American-based evangelical movement, Silver Ring Thing. Ms. Playfoot attends school south of London, where they refused to allow her to wear the ‘purity’ ring, which symbolizes her commitment to premarital chastity. The school refuses to allow Ms. Playfoot to wear the ‘purity’ ring because it is not a religious requirement, like Muslim headscarves, which are worn by some of the other students. The principle of the school, Mr. Nettley not only feels that he must draw the line between religious requirements and simply making a statement, He has gone as far as to accuse the Playfoot family of using this incident to gain publicity.
This is just another example of the Brits trying to corrupt and take advantage of our pure American youth. Not only that, the principal hates what is good and just so much, he lets terrorist wear their terror hats until the cows come home. It is pretty obvious that Mr. Nettly just wants to get that silver ring thing off, and play with Playfoots play feet. Please just reimburse the globe for the horrors you already have committed.
