We Believe The Children Are Our Future

05.22.2007 - SchoolHistory.co.uk

Philadelphia, PA – May 22, 2007 – It seems like just about everyone in every nook and cranny of the globe has either read or heard about our new book, “The Evil Empire: 101 Ways That England Ruined The World.” And now we hear that even schoolteachers are name-checking us.

Educators on SchoolHistory.co.uk referenced ICBR founder Steven Grasse’s new tome on the history of the British Empire while discussing a riveting, hold-onto-the-edge-of-your-seat PowerPoint presentation on British history. We’re not sure what the filmmaker thought of the book but we heartily applaud him for having an open mind and at least acknowledging that Britain’s tidy, do no wrong version of their contribution to civilization over the past 500 years may only be a small part of the Rubik’s Cube of world affairs.

If you’re jonesin’ for a little piece of high school history, check out their lesson here:

You will be quizzed later.
