Brits Ban Farting Man From Pub! You Call That Freedom?

05.03.2007 - The Week

Philadelphia, PA – May 3rd, 2007 - Poor, poor Stewart Laidlaw. He's been banned from his local pub for chronic flatulence. We wish that this were a joke, but it is not.

According to the April 6th edition of The Week, John Thow, owner of the pub Thirsty Kirsty's, politely asked Mr. Laidlaw to cease his anal backfire, but did not. So, they tossed him out of the pub for good.

Here in America, you can toot to your heart's delight. This is because we are tolerant of self-expression in all its forms regardless of race, creed, color or smell!

Yet another reason we demand reparations. Left unchecked, this sort of ban on bodily expression could waft over to our side of the Atlantic!

So if you care about truth and justice, make sure to pick up a copy of “The Evil Empire: 101 Ways That England Ruined The World,” in bookstores and online April 23rd, 2007. Visit www.evilempirebook.com for a sneak preview, press and enhanced features.
