Traditional Pubs Vanishing From Posh London Neighborhoods

05.01.2007 - The Economist

Philadelphia, PA – May 1, 2007 - According to the March 22nd edition of The Economist, traditional British pubs are disappearing from posh London neighborhoods at an alarming rate. Some pubs, going since way back in the Tudor times, have been converted to millionaire flats because the land they occupy is much more valuable than the annual revenue they bring in.

What can be done to save these cozy corners of social gathering?

We say, REPARATIONS!

If Britain coughed up the $51 trillion in reparations they owed the world, the value of real estate in London would go down, thus ceasing the Pub crisis.

Please, before the best pubs have bit the dust, do what is right and pay the reparations!
