International Coalition for British Reparations: People of the World, it's Time to get Paid.

The People Have Spoken

02.05.2007

Philadelphia, PA – February 5, 2007 – In just one short week, the International Coalition for British Reparations has made headlines and friends from around the globe.

The grassroots organization consists of forgotten victims of the British Empire who have banded together to ask for compensation for the injuries and injustice suffered over the past five hundred years. England’s shameful misconduct and neglect have necessitated that a global network of citizens from all walks of life unite to seek reparations in the sum of 31 trillion pounds sterling. ($58 trillion USD).

The Coalition’s website, www.britishreparations.org, houses information about their endeavors as well as their print ad and compelling commercial (which was banned from “The O’Reilly Factor”). Visitors can also sign the petition which states their desire to collect reparations in the amount of $8,350 for every man, woman and child.

“We are well on our way to spreading the truth to the people of the world,” says Steven Grasse, ICBR’s founder. “We’ve added over 400 friends to our MySpace page and have signatures from almost 2000 people who believe in our mission.”

After obtaining a sufficient number of signatures to show the depth of international support for our proposed settlement, the Coalition plans to present a full copy of the petition, in person, to Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.

The International Coalition for British Reparations kicked off their efforts last week at a press conference held at Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center.
