A highly trafficked road in Nottingham had to be closed after a truck hauling chicken giblets accidentally spilled them all over the road. The nasty situation was exacerbated by cars running over the spillage and spreading it across the street.
A cleanup crew was quickly deployed to the scene in order to clear the road and keep traffic jams at a minimum. They described it as being littered with "greasy offal and intestines."
That sure sounds like traditional English fare to us. That crew sure cleaned up, all right. Of course, by "cleaned up," we mean "had one hell of a free dinner." The mere mention of raw chicken intestines, gizzards, and hearts is enough to make any Briton's mouth water. We're absolutely certain there were more forks on hand than brooms and vacuums.
