Remember that fat family that demanded more disability money because they were still hungry that we covered in March? Well, you're about to see a whole lot more of them than you'd like because they're getting their own reality show.
You might recall that the youngest daughter, Emma, auditioned for X Factor in a homemade wedding dress to humiliating results. In an obvious publicity stunt for her upcoming program, she went back for a third time (with her supersized sister in tow). You can watch her cringeworthy rendition of Mariah Carey's "Hero" here.
The show, unsurprisingly, will focus on getting the fat family in shape. Paul Stead, chief of production company Daisybeck, said of the show, "We worked hard to secure access to the Chawner family for this series. We've designed a format that allows them to meet some of the best experts in the country to give them an opportunity to really change the way they live and how they feel about themselves."
Wow, sounds like a fantastic show. Looks like we're going to have to purchase that widescreen television we've been saving up for sooner than expected.
