Keith Cullen, 33, and Paul Wiggins, 45, had quite an adventure the other night. The pair broke into a liquor store, loaded £700 worth of alcohol into their getaway vehicle, caused £1,400 worth of damage, and then drank until they passed out—in the store. When police arrived at the SCENE the next morning, they found cases of alcohol ready to be loaded, a heaping amount of empty liquor bottles, and two thieves fast asleep.

Police arrested the men and on the day of their trial, the two showed up so drunk that police would not let them inside the courtroom. And that's the last anyone has seen of them.

That's right, the two men who got so drunk robbing a liquor store that they were incapable of escaping, outsmarted the police. It is quite possible, that the police themselves were all inebriated during the whole ordeal—this is England we're talking about after all.

We guess that the lesson learned here is that no matter how stupid you are, you will never outstupid the English police force.
