Briton Takes Credit For Neil Armstrong's Famous Words

07.22.2009 - British scientist claims he coined Neil Armstrong's moon landing quote

With the world celebrating the 40th anniversary of America's moon landing, England is feeling pretty inadequate these days. That's the only explanation we can think of for why some senile man's bogus claim that he came up with Neil Armstrong's famous moon landing quote is getting so much press around England.

Gary Peach, a scientist stationed in Australia during the moon landing, was concerned that an American would christen man's first step on the moon with less than memorable words.

During last minute checks, Mr. Peach claims that he told a NASA official, "I am concerned about the historic moment when the first man sets foot upon the Moon. In the excitement, knowing the Yanks as I do, it’ll probably be something like ‘Holy chicken s**t look at all that f***ing dust.'"

Apparently, the minds that built the rocket that reached the moon were nothing but blubbering idiots. And how many men has England put on the moon, Mr. Peach? Oh, and by the way, Mr. Peach, "chicken s**t" means coward, a term we reserve for the British, not for moments of awe.

Did you also write Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech because you didn't want him to get up to the podium and say, "We be equal."

How about before taking credit for the things you didn't do, you take accountability for the things you have. Like starting the war on oil, for example, or leaving Africa too weak to fight off AIDS. Do that before you start taking credit for things like baseball and famous speeches, you wanker.
