Gordon Brown's dark disposition scares female MPs and they have warned him to stop acting like a mob boss or face mutiny. Senior Labor women have said that Brown sends hitmen to "bump off" competitors and treats women as window dressing.
Jane Kennedy, who stepped down in June said, "When dealing with his politics he engages with a darker side of himself and he believes that the ends justifies the means. The way in which people are undermined is usually very personal. It's a very personal attack and it's very distasteful."
It's this kind of behavior that has earned him the nickname, The Gordfather. The MPs have said that if Brown's poll numbers don't increase by January, he will be asked to resign in favor of Home Secretary Alan Johnson.
All along we've been thinking of Gordon Brown as a Curly from the Three Stooges type, but now he turns out to be more of a Tony Soprano. As far as we know, Brown hasn't put a hit on us yet, but we'll keep our eyes peeled. If ICBR updates stop, you'll know what happened.
